About Dartmouth Crab Company

Dartmouth Crab Company is owned by Rick and Lyn Mitchelmore and managed by their daughter Emma Mitchelmore-Redclift, and Mark Moore.

The team

Emma used to work for her parents, but with the growth of the Crab Company, she took over full-time responsibility for the company.

Mark has been with the company since its inception, originally taking on all roles. Nowadays his role is that of purchasing, sales and the development of new projects.

The company has added to its ranks with the promotion of Neil Melling from driver to management of transport and sales.

Chris Brooker has recently joined on a part-time basis as transport manager, responsible for our Operators License, ensuring compliance.

The Company

We at the Dartmouth Crab Company pride ourselves on delivering top quality live Shellfish from around the UK, throughout Europe and the Far East. With our fleet of 10 modern vivier lorries based near Plymouth, offices and holding facilities in Brixham, and agents across the UK, we are ideally situated to ensure regular supply.

We work very closely with our sister company RJ and L Mitchelmore, marketing all the catch from their fleet of 5 crabbing vessels based in Devon, Scotland, and the North Sea.
